What You'll Actually Walk Away With
Our programs focus on practical knowledge you can use straight away. No theory for theory's sake.
Structure Selection Framework
Learn how to pick between sole trader, partnership, company, or trust structures based on your actual situation. We break down tax implications, liability protection, and administrative requirements in plain terms.
Compliance Roadmap
Get a clear picture of your ongoing obligations. From BAS statements to annual returns, you'll know what's coming and when. Most importantly, you'll understand why each requirement exists.
Documentation Templates
Walk away with shareholder agreements, operating procedures, and record-keeping systems you can adapt to your business. We've refined these over years of working with Australian companies.
Banking & Finance Setup
Understand how to separate business and personal finances properly, what banking products actually suit small business, and how to maintain the records that banks want to see when you need funding.
Risk Management Basics
Learn which insurances you actually need, how to protect personal assets, and what contracts should include. Real scenarios help you understand where businesses get into trouble.
Growth Planning
Set up your structure to accommodate growth without needing expensive restructures later. We cover adding partners, bringing on investors, and transitioning from small operation to established business.
How We Actually Run These Sessions
Look, you could read ASIC guidelines until your eyes glaze over. Or you could spend a few focused sessions with people who've helped hundreds of businesses get this stuff right. Our workshops mix explanation with practical exercises, so you're not just listening—you're working through your own situation with guidance.
Small Group Format
We cap sessions at 12 participants. This isn't a lecture hall situation where you're one of fifty people trying to get a question answered. You'll have time to dig into your specific circumstances, and often the best insights come from hearing what others in the room are dealing with.
Real Case Analysis
Every session includes examples from actual businesses we've worked with—obviously anonymised. You'll see what went smoothly and what didn't, which tends to stick in your memory better than abstract principles. We're not here to pretend everything always works perfectly.
Current Regulation Focus
Business law changes. Sometimes significantly. Our material gets updated regularly because teaching you what was correct in 2023 doesn't help much. We track regulatory changes and make sure you're getting information that reflects how things work right now in 2025.
Follow-Up Support Period
After the main sessions, you get three months of email support. When you're actually implementing what you've learned and questions come up, you can reach out. This makes a real difference because the questions you have after doing something often matter more than the ones you have before starting.
Who's Teaching This
These aren't people who studied business formation in theory. They've spent years setting up companies, fixing problematic structures, and dealing with the ATO when things get complicated. That practical experience shapes how we teach.
Callum Fitzroy
Structure Specialist
Spent 14 years helping businesses choose and set up appropriate legal structures across manufacturing and service industries.
Petra Lundqvist
Compliance Advisor
Focuses on building practical compliance systems that don't require hiring extra staff. Worked with over 300 small businesses on their record-keeping.
Hugh Galbraith
Tax Fundamentals
Teaches the tax side of business structures. Previously worked in ATO audit division, so he knows what triggers problems and how to avoid them.
Bennett Thorne
Growth Planning
Guides businesses through scaling up. His focus is setting up structures that don't need expensive changes when you add staff or partners.
